The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam wanted to count down to their reopening and asked Maarten Baas to make a work for this. During 99 days the men in this Analog Digital Countdown Clock continuously counted down time untill the moment of reopening 13 April 2013, reflecting the activity of the last 10 years by craftsmen and builders in the museum. The clock installation was projected on a 2x8meter LED screen with visibility of over 500 meters. A 1500 kg metal construction was build and hauled up the face of the museum connecting to the video installation driving the screens for the days, hours and minutes. The installation was realized, coordinated and organized by DHPH.
